U.S. Army 2nd Lt. Leah Norris, military intelligence officer, 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 40th Infantry Division, was interviewed during 2019 Annual Training at Camp Roberts Training Base, California, June 20. Norris spoke of how her decision to join the California Army National Guard is to honor the memory of her grandfather and to also keep the enemies off of American soil.
