Fun, fireworks, and a large celebration are American traditions when it comes to the Fourth of July.
Yokota held its annual Celebrate America, with members of Team Yokota and our host nation guests invited to enjoy the festivities, July 3.
Celebrate America is an annual event that provides military members and their families the opportunity to enjoy games, food and bands before culminating in a fireworks display over the Yokota AB airfield to celebrate Independence Day.
The celebration started in the early morning with the firecracker 6K run. Other events through the day included performances from the band American Hitmen, Freestyle Moto-Cross performance. There will also be plenty of activities for the entire family including Go-Karts, a climbing wall, archery tag, zip lining, a petting zoo, pony rides, and bounce castles in the field.
