AF Junior ROTC cadets in collaboration with local Civil Air Patrol members took to the skies yesterday for River Region Rocket Day! The groups worked together to build and fire 240 rockets in the Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 launch, and to further promote STEM careers to River Region students.
