Col. Russell C. Burton relinquishes his post as the commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station New River to Col. Curtis V. Ebitz, Jr. during a change of command ceremony at MCAS New River, North Carolina, July 19, 2019. Ebitz is coming to command MCAS New River from Headquarters Marine Corps, Department of Aviation where he served as the Aviation Plans, Programs and Budget Branch Head. Burton is set to retire after relinquishing his post after 28 years of faithful service.
