Kagura is a traditional form of music and dance dedicated to Japanese Shinto gods. While it originated to pray for good harvest and health, Kagura is also used for celebration and entertainment. Petty Officer 3rd Class Kyleigh Williams sat in the front row of a Kagura performance on Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, to see the traditional dance first hand. This video story includes soundbites from Josephina Johnson and Angela Hamill. This story is available in high definition.
