Soldiers assigned to Company D, 224th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division launches the RQ-7B Shadow Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System at Camp Ripley, Minnesota on July 21, 2019. These Soldiers are apart of the over 3,800 Iowa Army National Guard Soldiers participating in the eXportable Combat Training Capability exercise. The XCTC is a 21-day collective training exercise for Brigade Combat Teams to achieve trained platoons, capable of unified land operations and response to domestic crises.
