Media B-Roll of life inside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Aurora Contract Detention Center (ACDF) in Aurora, Colorado. The ACDF is in compliance with the Performance-Based National Detention Standards (PBNDS). While in detention, aliens receive three hot meals a day (based on their cultural and religious needs) that rotate on a 5 week schedule. They also have access to high quality medical and dental care and a pharmacy. They have access to a law library and a general library and confidential in-person or telephonic consultation with their attorneys. The U.S. Justice Department's Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) conducts immigration hearings in on-site courtrooms. There are phones available throughout the facility. The housing pods each have a large dayroom with televisions, phones, PS4 video games, tablets to Skype with family members or surf the internet and watch movies. They have board games, crafts and books and access to an open air exercise yard.
