Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) perform squad battle drills as a crucial step in certifying their combat skills on Al Taqaddum, Iraq, July 2, 2019. Battle drills require synchronization and concise communication to execute effectively. Combined Joint Task Force- Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) training programs include courses in areas as diverse as operational planning, counter-terrorism, logistics and sustainment, equipment maintenance, counter-improvised explosive device techniques and law enforcement.
