The Air Force has experienced just over 300 Class A-C mishaps related to foreign object damage since fiscal year 2014. Foreign objects are a substance, debris or article alien to a vehicle or system which can cause significant damage. In an effort to combat the issue, Dr. Love takes a moment to highlight why it is so important for Airmen to stay vigilant when checking their vehicles prior to entering the flightline and accounting for their equipment while working on aircraft.
