On the morning of August 25, 1944, soldiers from the U.S. and French armies liberated Paris, France, following a four-year occupation by Nazi Germany. Seventy-five years later, a group of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines from the United States European Command along with their French counterparts commemorate this historic milestone in World War II.
