Aspiring U.S. Marine Corps martial arts instructors from throughout II Marine Expeditionary Force endure physically challenging training during the Martial Arts Instructors Course (MAIC) with 1st Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, at the Area 2 Pool on Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 20, 2019. The purpose of this workout allows students to become confident in aquatic and outside-the-norm exercises.
