In a ceremony held at Joint Base San Antonio, Lackland, on August. 29th, Maj. Gen. Timothy D. Haugh took command of Twenty-Fifth Air Force from Maj. Gen. Mary F. O’Brien.
The Twenty-Fifth Air Force provides multisource intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance products, applications and resources, to include cyber and geospatial forces and expertise.
O’Brien, who was recently confirmed as the Air Force’s next deputy chief of staff for ISR and cyber effects operations, will receive her third star and promotion to the rank of lieutenant general as she takes the helm of the enterprise and the Air Force prepares to merge these two missions for a more holistic approach to offensive and defensive information operations.
