In recognition of National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month in September, Major General R. Scott Dingle, Acting, The Surgeon General and Acting Commanding General, asks each of us to take a proactive role in helping reduce high-risk behaviors, decreasing the stigma associated with seeking help and preventing Soldier, Family and Civilian suicides. Every person is a valued member of the Army Team and is essential to mission accomplishment.
