Elements of the 7th Mission Support Command teamed with Bundeswehr, Technisches Hilfswerk and the Red Cross for an exercise in providing humanitarian assistance, Sept. 14, in Wackernheim, Germany.
Cobra Strike is a multi-national, multi-organizational exercise in humanitarian assistance. The exercise was organized by Charlie Co., 457th Civil Affairs Battalion, 361st Civil Affairs Brigade and included the 589th Engineer Detachment - both of the 7th Mission Support Command.
The exercise helps organizations train on specific requirements and builds relationships and familiarization between the organizations. This increases the organizations ability to respond quickly and work together in the event of a real-world emergency.
