Coast Guard Aids-to-Navigation Team San Francisco crewmembers traveled to South Lake Tahoe, Calif., Sept. 9, 2019, to service and maintain aids to navigation, "lighting the way" for boaters. The Coast Guard is responsible for ensuring signs, symbols, buoys, markers, lighthouses, and regulations are up to date and functioning properly so recreational and commercial boaters can safely navigate the maritime environment.
