Tanks In Mons is an annual event that commemorates the liberation of Belgium after World War II. This year marked the 75th anniversary. Tanks and period vehicles from Belgium and across Europe were driven around the town of Mons, ending in the Grand Place for a large final showcase and dedication to the sacrifice of Americans during the Second World War. Members of USAG Benelux and the SHAPE communities got to partake in various ways, also donning appropriate time-period attire, while learning historical facts about the vehicles they got to ride upon.
*Video includes interviews from members of the Mons Devoir de Memoire and the USAG Benelux Commander.
