Maj. Gen. Jim Hoyer, adjutant general, West Virginia National Guard, visits service members across the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility during a reserve senior leader visit program. The RSLVP is a USCENTCOM commander sponsored program. Its primary mechanism for reserve component general officers and senior enlisted leader counterparts is to visit their reserve component service members in the USCENTCOM AOR. The primary goal of RSLVP is to provide reserve component general officers with a boots-on-ground perspective of their service members’ contributions and to gain insights into the USCENTCOM strategy, current and future requirements.
