C-17 loadmasters from the United Arab Emirates release pallets as part of an airdrop mission during Exercise Mobility Guardian Media Day, Sept. 25, 2019. Reporters flew aboard the Emirati C-17 to witness an airdrop resupply mission as part of air mobility operations and to learn about integrated training among Americans, the Emiratis and other international partners. The airdrop marked the first time an Emirati C-17 completed a conventional airdrop. Exercise Mobility Guardian is Air Mobility Command's premier, large scale mobility exercise. Through robust and relevant training, Mobility Guardian improves the readiness and capabilities of Mobility Airmen to deliver rapid global mobility and builds a more lethal and ready Air Force.
