Walter R. Kujawa, a Korean War veteran, speaks as a representative for a group of veterans visiting South Korea, during the Thank You Banquet hosted by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, in Seoul, South Korea, September 30, 2019. Kujawa served in E. “Easy” Company, 3rd Infantry Division, U.S. Army, and arrived on the peninsula in 1952. Kujawa remarked on the prosperity of South Korea following the armistice agreement that has held since the conflict’s revolution and thanked his hosts for setting up the visit for him and his comrades. The veterans were brought to South Korea by the Korean War Veterans Revisit Korea Program.
