2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division arrived in Vlissingen, Netherlands beginning a nine-month rotation in support of Atlantic Resolve. The 2nd ABCT deployment of more than 2,225 pieces of equipment from Fort Hood, Texas, to locations throughout Europe is evidence of U.S. Army Europe’s ability to facilitate the quick assembly of forces to deter aggression. 2nd ABCT is one of the U.S. Army’s premier armored brigades, highly trained, lethal and well-prepared to support Atlantic Resolve activities in Europe.
