Brig. Gen. Jami C. Shawley, commander of the Army Reserve Aviation Command sat down for an interview to discuss Task Force Warhawk's mission in the Middle East. Task Force Warhawk, led by the 244th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade, is a multi-component task force comprised of U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard and Active Duty Soldiers supporting aviation operations all over U.S. Central Command's area of responsibility. During the interview, Shawley discusses the task force's unique capabilities, the contributions made by ARAC Soldiers and the benefits of deploying to the CENTCOM AOR.
