The South Carolina National Guard conducts a ceremony in Columbia, South Carolina, Nov. 18, 2019 to recognize the team of Soldiers and civilians that worked together to make it possible to go live in the Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) human resources system. South Carolina was part of fielding group six for the conversion from the previous human resources system, Standard Installation and Division Personnel Reporting System (SIDPERS), to the new system. After nearly nine months of work, South Carolina is one of only 15 states that are currently using IPPS-A as their primary human resources system. Pennsylvania was the first state to go live in 2018 with the National Guard leading the way as the first Army component to implement IPPS-A. (South Carolina National Guard)
