Norfolk, Virginia (November 13, 2019). The Hampton Roads Naval Museum, part of the Naval History and Heritage Command, hosts a moderated panel consisting of U.S. Navy Vietnam War Veterans. Moderating the panel is Jan Herman Jan K. Herman, who served as the Chief Medical Historian of the Navy from 1979-2012; panelist Carmen Adams served as a Medical Technician aboard the USS Repose (AH-16); panelist Danny Lliteras served as a Hospital Corpsman with Marines in the jungles of Vietnam; and panelist Gordon Paulson served as a Chaplain at Naval Support Activity Da Nang. The moderated panel is an extension of their new exhibit “The Ten Thousand-Day War at Sea: The U.S. Navy in Vietnam, 1950-1975.” This is segment two (2) of five (5) edited segments of the moderated panel.
