U.S. Marines and Sailors with 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division conduct a French Fourragere ceremony at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Dec. 6, 2019. The country of France awarded the French Fourragere to the Marines and Sailors of the 5th and 6th Marine Regiments in 1918 for their heroism and bravery in the battles of Belleau Wood, Soissons, and Champagne during World War I.
