On Saturday, Dec 7th, 2019, the Grand Forks Air Force Base Honor Guard and Grand Forks American Legion teamed up to respectfully burn nearly 50 faded, worn or otherwise unserviceable U.S. flags, which were previously flown proudly across the Greater Grand Forks area before being retired and replaced.
