The proposal is an Ultrasonic Weapon Cleaning System designed to restore operational weaponry to a "better than new" condition while ensuring that weapons are properly lubricated. Expected to reduce weapons malfunction rates and man hours involved in the cleaning process. This system will reduce costs associated with repairing weapons from excessive wear and tear due to the advanced chemicals used. This system is projected to save 44,000 man hours/year as well as prolong the life of the weapons.
