B-Roll of soldiers assigned to Defense Logistics Agency Susquehanna, Pennsylvania raise a flag in honor of retired Army 1st Sgt. Larry Marcantel who recently died. Marcantel was the first sergeant at the New Cumberland base, now headquarters to DLA Distribution, when the Three Mile Island nuclear meltdown occurred in nearby Middletown in 1979. With the installation commander out of area at the time of the incident, Marcantel became the acting commander during what became a large-scale domestic crisis. In honor of 1st Sgt. Marcantel's contributions during that time, a flag was flow over the installation on the 20th anniversary year of the occurrence. (Video by DLA Distribution Public Affairs)
