The Veterans Healthcare System is offering Tai Chi, Yoga, Mindful Meditation and many other classes as part of a new Health & Wellness program.
The PEC hosted the Whole Health for Mental Health training seminar for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, January 27-29, 2020. The training brought VA representatives from across the 54 to meet with instructors and Health & Wellness program managers who have already implemented the program like the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. Mandie Johnson, Health and Wellness Program Manager for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, explains the need for the new wellness programs.
