A de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft lands at Atar Air Base during a Casualty Evacuation (CASEVAC) exercise at FLINTLOCK 20 in Atar, Mauritania Feb. 16, 2020. The CASEVAC involved U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers transporting simulated casualties from a nearby camp to the flightline. Flintlock is an annual, integrated military and law enforcement exercise that has strengthened key partner-nation forces throughout North and West Africa since 2005.
