Members of multiple different civilian, U.S. military and foreign military components participated in a search and extraction training mission as part of exercise Arctic Eagle 2020 at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, Feb. 25. During the mission, multiple teams were sent out to assess damage in a helicopter crash scenario, safely search and extract throughout the site, and complete decontamination. The agencies included search and rescue K9 teams from Fairbanks Paws Search and Rescue, and Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Urban Search and Rescue Nevada Task Force 1 and Utah Task Force 1. The Chemical Biological Incident Response Force, based out of Naval Support Facility Indian Head, Md., completed the decontamination operations. Runtime 04:23. (Video by 2nd Lt.
