Doug Nakama, a program specialist with Federal Emergency Management Headquarters’s Urban Search and Rescue Branch Office, discusses members of multiple different civilian, U.S. military and foreign military components participating in a search and extraction training mission as part of exercise Arctic Eagle 2020 at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, Feb. 25. During the mission, multiple teams were sent out to assess damage in a helicopter crash scenario, safely search and extract throughout the site, complete decontamination, and medical triage operations. The 17 FEMA participants included search and rescue K9 teams from Urban Search and Rescue Nevada Task Force 1 and Utah Task Force 1. Runtime 06:27. (Video by 2nd Lt.
