The Ohio National Guard has activated about 400 members, on order of Gov. Mike DeWine, to support humanitarian efforts by local food banks to ensure Ohioans in need continue to receive food and other critical items during the COVID-19 pandemic. Guard members are helping pack, transport and distribute food at 12 regional food banks across the state, which provide food to Ohioans in all 88 counties.
