FORT LEE, Va. -- In an effort to assist the Fort Lee instructor community with CDC-recommended cloth face coverings -- and provide surgical/clinical masks for Kenner Army Health Clinic -- the Aerial Delivery Field Services Department is working to produce both in Operation Provide Masks. ADFSD’s maintenance room 250, normally used for parachute repair, switched gears to help combat the spread of COVID-19. The Mask Team is using six light-duty sewing machines to make face coverings and masks in a sterilized space with the aid of some of their Marine Corps students who are awaiting class dates.
