The Delaware National Guard is assisting the Food Bank of Delaware to help address increased demands for food assistance a midst the coronavirus public health crisis. DE Food Bank is hosting an additional two drive-thru mobile pantries in each Delaware county for families struggling to afford food. The Food Bank of Delaware is prepared to serve up to 2,500 households at each pantry and 7,500 households to receive the assistance this week with the Delaware Guard's support.
The DNG provided 25 Guardsmen and women to support this mission.
