Army Reserve Spc. Alex Rivas, with Urban Augmentation Medical Task Force 811-1, gives a shout-out to his loved ones in Kansas City, Mo., while augmented to Stamford Hospital-Bennet Medical Center, Stamford, Conn., April 23, 2020. Spc. Rivas and his team are assisting medical soldiers with the Connecticut Army National Guard and hospital staff in the efforts to increase the care capacity and treatment ability of COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 patients, alleviating civilian providers from having to manage lower priority patients.
