U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Steven Wright, a fuels technician assigned to the 419th Logistics Readiness Squadron, and his wife Cynthia help to ensure Airmen at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, and community members have the proper protective equipment to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 during April of 2020. Wright and his family work together to sew masks at their home with material from old t-shirts, drapes, and any fabric they can find in stores. The Wright family has made over 1,000 masks and donated them to local hospitals, Airmen, and anybody in need of a mask. (U.S. Air Force video by Airman 1st Class Cole Yardley)
