Synopsis
NATO’s enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) Battlegroup Poland continues to train and exercise during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring they are ready to serve and protect if required. US soldiers practised on the ‘Shock Trooper’ Assault Course, testing soldiers on their ability to shoot, move and communicate. The course was a culmination of weeks of training and preparation, with teams competing for the right to call themselves ‘Shock Troopers’. While at the Bemowo Piskie Training Area, members of the 5th HRVCON (Croatian Contingent) conducted live-fire exercise Storm Strike 20. The training objectives were to establish and maintain communication with a focus on artillery procedures. Soldiers from the Croatian, UK and US armed forces participated in the exercise. All activities were conducted in accordance with the proper measures to halt the spread of COVID-19.
