B-roll imagery of the 436th Aerial Port Squadron and 701st Airlift Squadron loading ventilators onto a C-17 Globemaster III for delivery to Russia May 20, 2020, at Dover Air Force Base, Del. The COVID-19 outbreak is worsening in Russia, which has the second-highest number of cases in the world and the highest number of cases in Europe. The U.S. Government is responding with a donation of ventilators for the Russian people. The first 50 ventilators from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) will be handed over to the Russian people on May 21, with another 150 expected later this month. .
