Ahead of his retirement, U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Darron Dale with Wounded Warrior Battalion-East (WWBN-E), reflects on a challenging career marked by multiple tours to combat zones, some of the difficulties he encountered once back home, and the assistance he received from the battalion that put him on a path to recovery, June 15, 2020 at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Dale, a Houston, Texas native, enlisted in 2006 and deployed six times during his Marine Corps career.
