United States Army Central said farewell to our outgoing Chief of Staff, Brig. Gen. Jeffrey P. Van, and welcomed Brig. Gen. Robert “Brian” Davis, with a ceremony at the command's headquarters, Patton Hall, Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., July 15, 2020. Van’s next assignment will be as Commanding General for Joint Task Force Civil Support at Ft. Eustis Va. His successor, Brig. Gen. Davis’ most recent assignment was as the Senior Defense Official/Defense Attaché at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, China.
