U.S. Marines with Logistics Combat Element, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin conduct a section defense range at Kangaroo Flats Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia, July 28, 2020. The range allowed the Marines to simulate a scenario that allowed Marines to sweep a landing zone for medical evacuation purposes and enhanced the Marines fire and maneuver skills to better respond to crises and contingencies throughout the region.
