FORT STEWART, Ga. --- The 143d Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) command team, Brig. Gen. Pamela McGaha, commanding general, and Command Sgt. Major David Clyatt, command sergeant major, sent their greetings from the headquarters of the 3rd Infantry Division in Fort Stewart, Ga. Since March 2020, many Soldiers and their families spent their days adapting to the evolving COVID-19 environment. As the Army Reserve entered the summer training season, those same Soldiers and their units continued to plan and prepare for modified annual training events. As an example, the 143d ESC headquarters decreased the number of Soldiers attending the staff exercise annual training at Fort Stewart to comply with CDC COVID-19 guidances. Despite the smaller formation, the staff exercise provided the opportunity to showcase the operational relationship between Active and Reserve components units towards accomplishing the mission.
