Lance Cpl Carolyn Kolceski, a newly trained Marine Musician, graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt High School, talks about her journey into the Marine Corps at Recruiting Sub-Station Syracuse, Recruiting Station Albany, New York on September 22, 2020. Upon completion of Marine Combat Training, Marines who have been selected as musicians will attend the Naval School of Music where they will receive advanced musical training, both instrumental and academic, before being assigned to one of the Marine Corps Bands.
