U.S. Marines with Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune’s, Provost Marshal’s Office, chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, explosive (CBRNE) defense specialists with Headquarters Battalion, 2d Marine Division, along with the firefighters and paramedics with Camp Lejeune Fire and Emergency Services and the Jacksonville Fire Department conduct CBRNE training on Camp Johnson, North Carolina, Oct. 14-16, 2020. Through the use of scenario based drills, Marines and firefighters trained to improve their techniques, tactics, procedures and timing that will aid in the detection, monitoring, sampling and decontamination capabilities when dealing with hazardous materials.
