U.S. Marines assigned to Special Purpose Marine-Air Ground Task Force – Crisis Response - Central Command (SPMAGTF-CR-CC), conduct a forward aircraft refueling point for F/A-18 fighter jets, embarked on the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), refuel during an aircraft delivered ground refueling mission in Kuwait, Nov. 2. U.S. Marines are capable of supporting strike warfare by providing an expeditionary Tactical Aircraft Forward Arming and Refueling Point, which extends the range and availability of carrier-based aircraft operations.
