U.S. Army Central conducted the Army’s new Army Combat Fitness Test, formerly known as the Army Physical Fitness Test, to assess the unit’s combat and physical readiness Aug. 27, 2020. The ACFT was designed to better connect fitness with combat readiness for all Soldiers while also improving soldier and unit readiness, enhance mental toughness and stamina, and reduce preventable injuries.
