Private Michael Williams graduated from One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky in summer 1990 and immediately reported to his first unit at Fort Benning, Georgia. Only a few weeks later, he was in Saudi Arabia, preparing for Operation DESERT STORM as his first Army experience. Thirty years later, now Command Sgt. Maj. Williams recalls his experiences and what he has learned from this first initiation. (U.S. Army video by Staff Sgt. Nicholas Brown-Bell)
