The Coast Guard Cutter Douglas Munro (WHEC 724) completed its final patrol in March of 2021. After 49 years of service, the ship is scheduled to be decommissioned April 24, 2021. Douglas Munro, a high endurance cutter homeported in Kodiak, Alaska, has long been a staple in Alaskan waters, conducting missions throughout the Aleutian Islands and Bering Sea.
