Fort Hunter Liggett rolled out its COVID-19 Vaccine program at the Medical Aid Station, and as the sign says, folks brought Form 207, CAC, and an arm! Garrison Commander Col. Charles Bell was among the first to receive the Moderna vaccine, and all the command team members got their jab as well. A whole lot of effort and teamwork across several entities went into giving FHL the ability to vaccinate its Soldiers, Civilian employees, and family members. Medical personnel from the Presidio of Monterey's California Medical Detachment (CAL MED) were on hand as well as from Madigan Army Medical Center's aid station staff. FHL's paramedic/firefighters volunteered to be trained to give the vaccinations and other staff are helping with the paperwork and record-keeping. The clinic continued through March 25.
