The 492nd Special Operations Training Group is the Air Force Special Operations Command's formal school for the AC-130J Ghostrider and MC-130H Combat Talon II. They are responsible for assessing, educating and professionally developing SOF Airmen and rapidly developing innovative courses and technologies to meet emerging AFSOC requirements.
